SG Water can look back on more than 30 years of experience in developing, producing and selling high-purity water products and systems for laboratories and industry around the world. "The solutions of SG Water will complement especially our water treatment product portfolio in the USA", says Dave Spyker, Executive Vice President of the Industry Segment for Siemens Water Technologies. More than half of SG Water's turnover is generated outside Germany in countries such as the USA, Ireland, the UK and China. "The acquisition is about strengthening our portfolio and our service business as well as expanding our international footprint in the high-purity water solutions market." The hitherto privately owned SG Water will continue to operate under the same name, but with the addition of "A Siemens Company."
