The Water and Energy Exchange (WEX) 2009 is a leading international summit for senior executives in the water and energy sector that, through a comprehensive conference programme and pre-scheduled meetings agenda, addresses key challenges brought about by the effects of climate change, population growth and the associated increases in industrial and residential demand. It will be held for its third consecutive year on 28th & 29th January 2009 in Marbella, Spain.
Adhering to the themes of sustainability, efficiency, innovation and collaboration, WEX addresses current problems and looks for opportunities and solutions that should be adopted. This is done by uniting the entire supply chain in interactive debate and dialogue so that positive action can emerge.

Dear All,
Energy and Water Exchange 2009 conference is being conducted needs every body's appreciation. As a energy and environment and quality of life researcher I understand the severity of energy and water shortage problems across many countries. The rural energy consumption in Tamil Nadu, india as per my Ph.D study varies from 10 Giga Joules to 24 GJ per capita per year. We cannot ask the people to reduce further energy consumption. But we can go for renewable energy resources. NGOs like ours Geo Resource Centre welcome the concept of British Petroleum Corporation having link with NGOs private and CBO partnership to promote solar cookers etc.
Kindly request the corporate sectors and funding NGOs to promote more water and enregy projects at grass root level. Our NGO is ready to work with Corporate sector and internationa donors including UNEP etc.
Thanks and regards,
YOurs sincerely,

Great GOD is releasing sufficient WATER every year , but we are useing 33% to 55% only and rest is flowing back in to sea.We are not increasing our storages and crying for shortages ,and some of countries has started reuseing of wasr water and minimising usesof water . This is again creat another problemsdue to pollutions, infections , dehydration etc.
I am ready to suggest for making water storages to all countries. As I am having Inventions/Innovations of experiences to CATCH the CATCHMENTS where the rivers can be taped/turned/tunneled to feed at any levels/leads.If U need any mor then please call for my comments .s.k.tiwari - 08/11/2008 - 19:53
Stormwater in the arid county of Arizona is a challenge: it is too dry or it is flooding, taking everything that is in the stream. This 43 minute movie unveils the work managing the waters.
