The EBAE awards are granted every two years by the European Commission, and are open only to those European companies that have already been honored in their countries for their eco-innovation – that is for products or services that combine innovation, economic viability and environmental concern). There were 125 international entries this year and, as the EBAE put it, the finalists should consider themselves among the “Best of the Best”.
